Yahoo! News asked voters for their reactions to Thursday night's South Carolina debate. Here is one voter's perspective.
COMMENTARY | Hoots and hollers, applause and a standing ovation began the South Carolina debate when Newt Gingrich slam-dunked his answer.
Moderator John King asked Gingrich about his reaction to his second ex-wife's opinion that he lacks the moral character to be president. Gingrich blasted King for bringing up something of such an "appalling and despicable" nature and called CNN trashy for mentioning it.
I might not buy Gingrich's being indignant because he isn't the most moral person on that stage, but he surely can out debate anyone. I'd love to see him one-on-one with Obama. And the memorable line that created the standing O: Gingrich said he is "tired of the elite media protecting Barack Obama by attacking Republicans!"
Ron Paul's comment about his wife of 54 years watching was not lost on me.
Being partial to Ron Paul, I particularly liked when he said that the federal government should get out of the way of job creation, that there should be reduced regulations for business, that there should be no bailouts and that the income tax should be reduced to zero. Hello. Fair Tax anyone?
Although Paul did not say the words Fair Tax, reducing the income tax to zero is the Fair Tax, legislation that would replace the income tax, the Social Security tax and the Medicare tax with one consumption tax that is revenue-neutral.
Romney made a good showing when an audience member asked about ObamaCare. Romney said that health care should "act like a consumer market as opposed to having it run like Amtrak and the Post Office."
He said that the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is the difference between the party of free enterprise versus government domination. I agree with Romney here, but leave it to Gingrich to give this topic a comedic spin. He explained that ObamaCare allows kids to stay on their parents' insurance until they are 26, and then pondered why. He answered his own question by explaining that no one in their early 20s can get jobs in this economy.
"Elect us," meaning Republicans, he says, to get kids employed and out of the house!

There is no difference in the ruling parties... http://webstation19.8k.com/repub.htm
Are you gullible enough to believe that any Republican or Democrat for that manner would ever legalize anything. Both parties are riding the Zero Tolerance ban wagon. Bottom line make everything possible illegal so you can fine the hell out of those who disagree with your policies. Take away their money, take away their jobs, take away their medicines, take away there right to vote. It's all about control, disguised as a campaign for freedom. It's time to demand our Freedom back. I am a supporter of Goooh, http://www.goooh.com
and I am running a write in campaign for US President.

Zero tolerance is the first step to Nazism.
